Holland America line, 2001-2005
For the cruiseships of Holland America line, Barbara designed carpets in various color compositions. The pattern of the Axminster woven carpets was based on two existing designes from her portfolio, which Barbara adapted for the various public spaces on the ships. For every ship, she selected 20 color combinations , some of them very intens and complementary, others soft and fluid. 35.000 m2 carpet was produced for each ship.
