Royal Palace, Amsterdam, 1993 (not executed)
In 1993, Barbara was asked to make a large scale design for a handtufted carpet for the citizen hall of the Royal Palace in Amsterdam (150 x 315 m). For this commission, Barbara thouroughly researched the history and iconography of the building, which fulfilled a very important role for the city of Amsterdam throughout the time.
